Seeking counseling is a courageous first step toward healing, and I am here to help! I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Certified Anger Management Specialist. I have extensive experience working in the mental health field with Adults (18 & over) since 2001. I obtained a B.A degree from NEIU and a M.A. degree in Professional Counseling from Argosy University. I have enjoyed working with client's in a variety of settings including; Private Practice, Psychiatric units, Hospital ER's, a Halfway House, Crisis Center, Domestic Violence Shelter and Correctional Center. I work with adults struggling with Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Drug & Alcohol Addiction, Anger management, Low Self-Esteem, Domestic Violence etc. In therapy, I frequently utilize an eclectic mix of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavior therapy, Motivational Interviewing or a Psychodynamic approach.
