About

I specialize in working those who carry the layered impacts of complex trauma, particularly those who grew up in immigrant families. You may have learned early on to be resilient, responsible, and attuned to others’ needs at the cost of your own emotional safety. Therapy is a space to slow down, make meaning of these experiences, and reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been pushed aside in the service of survival. My approach is rooted in relational psychoanalysis, which means I pay attention to how early relationships, cultural context, and intergenerational histories shape the way you experience yourself and others. Together, we explore patterns that show up in relationships, emotions, and the therapeutic relationship itself. Because trauma also lives in the body, I integrate somatic interventions, including EMDR. These approaches help gently process overwhelming experiences, regulate the nervous system, and create new pathways for safety and connection.
