Hi! My name is Junise Dorestin and I am a License Marriage and Family Therapist. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked as a children social service worker with Child Protective Services. I have been working in the field of mental health for over 10 years. I obtained my Masters of Art in Psychology emphasis Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University in 2008. I have experienced in working with incarcerated individuals, families, children and young adult. I use a broad range of treatment method to assist individuals and families in the process of reaching their goals. As a therapist, I have work with clients struggling with a variety of issues. Many individuals experience multiple mental health symptoms at the time same time. I believe that it crucial to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for the person to fully express what they are experiencing. It is also important to address all the issues.
