I especially like to help clients better their close relationships with partners, and have found that helping relationships is an excellent way to improve one's mental and physical health. Sometimes it is best to address individual problems such as anger and depression before engaging in therapy for the relationship and I always see clients individually before seeing them together. In some cases I help clients separate from the relationship with as little negative fallout on themselves or children. I conducted custody evaluations for 20 years but also help couples mediate differences as an alternative to court intervention.
