Hi! My name is Katie Magalnick, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Masters from Southern Connecticut State University and have been practicing for 6 years. I currently work for the State of Connecticut working with young adults who struggle with addiction and/or mental health issues. In this role, I help young adults navigate the hardships of everyday life while managing with a mental health disorder. My goal is to allow clients to be able to live each day a little bit easier. In doing so, I help young adults identify triggers, coping skills, as well as assist in developing healthy communication skills. In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then discuss goals you have for therapy. We will also discuss when the best days/times are for sessions. I am flexible!
