Clients begin counseling for a number of reasons and as the owner of Guided Growth Counseling, LLC, my aim is to ensure that when you begin your growth process with me you will feel that your needs are met with the compassion you deserve. I view the therapeutic bond as the most important aspect of counseling. Together we will work to understand what brings you to counseling and develop a plan to achieve your goals. I specialize in working with children and teens struggling with social skills, anxiety, behavioral issues, and mood disorder, individuals with trauma including trafficking, and individuals on the autism spectrum. I approach counseling from a cognitive-behavioral perspective. We will explore patterns of thoughts and actions to better understand your problems and to develop solutions. For my younger clients, I often employ expressive and creative approaches including play and art. I also offer group counseling for specialized topics.
