My life journey has taught me the importance of embracing the pain, identifying lessons and moving beyond the turmoil. And, oh is that difficult, however, with patience, hard work and prayer all things can shift. I carry this motto while counseling clients, educating students and advocating for justice. As I answer the calling on my life, I use Cognitive Behavioral and Constructivist theories in the building of effective therapeutic relationships. I am trauma-informed and LGBTQ affirming. I work with adults and couples with a wide range of presenting needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, conflict resolution, reconciliation and more
