As a former elementary and special education teacher, my primary focus is on working with children beginning with Pre-K through high school/college; in addition, I also work with adults of all ages. Most of the clients I see have issues related to trauma, including anxiety/depression and distress intolerance. Using a person-centered, eclectic approach, I utilize EMDR, Progressive Counting, and Play Therapy, in combination with CBT and other psychotherapies while working with clients to develop positive cognitions, increase self-regulation skills, manage triggers/stressors, and process trauma.
