Hi, my name is Karen Carter, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I provide treatment for mood disorders, trauma, domestic violence, grief and loss. I primarily utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques with an integrated mindfulness component and a humanistic client-centered style. I'm also experienced in supporting clients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. I help parents with managing challenging behaviors through periodic parent sessions as well.
