I have been a clinical psychologist for over 25 years, first as a staff psychologist at UNMC, and now in private practice in Papillion. Areas of expertise for me include treatment-resistant depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, eating disorders, relationship and family issues, divorce, dating, and women's issues. My office is a safe space for LBGTQIA+ people and their families. I see many people today who are concerned about events in society, politics, and the pace of technological change. It is a time of great uncertainty, and my clients are welcome to discuss these topics in their work with me. I am trained in CBT, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Time-Limited Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. I enjoy taking care of clients who have not been able to find relief through earlier attempts with therapy or medication. I find that almost always, we can develop a treatment plan that will bring symptom relief and allow people to live happier, freer lives.
