As a licensed clinical psychologist and certified psychoanalyst, I facilitate my clients' efforts toward self-reflection, help them gain a clearer understanding of their life experiences, and bring awareness to their patterns of relating. My orientation is primarily psychodynamic/psychoanalytic, an approach that promotes self-exploration and insight, along with productive behavior change. I take an active and engaged role with my clients by asking questions, offering alternative perspectives, and suggesting new ways of thinking about issues that may be getting in the way of living a more satisfying life.
