Karen Weinstein, PhD: A graduate of Smith College and Adelphi U., I specialize in short and longer-term psychodynamic psychotherapy. My background includes leadership positions in public hospitals, treating individuals with severe mental illnesses, on in-patient, prison and outpatient settings as . I work with couples, individuals teens. I serve as a volunteer psychotherapist to A Home Within: an organization that provides free ongoing therapy to foster children who have aged out of care. In addition, I am a therapist organizational consultant to many of New York's leading academic hospitals, treating physicians in crisis.
