Hello, I'm Karla Smith, a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with an MSW. For the past two decades, I have dedicated my career to helping successful career women who are overwhelmed with trying to be perfect for everybody. If you find yourself saying 'yes' without considering your schedule or needs, constantly worrying about what others think, or acting differently depending on who you are around, you are not alone. Many of my clients share these experiences, and together, we work to find a path to a more balanced and fulfilling life. My approach to therapy is interactive and practical. I don't just nod my head and listen; I actively engage with you, helping to define the problem in concise terms and using tools to improve the situation. We will start with today, identifying your distress points and understanding how they interrupt your present life.
