Hi, I'm Kary! I am a licensed clinical social worker from San Francisco, CA. I work primarily with children, teens, and adults. I support clients who are processing trauma, navigating life transitions, struggling with depression or anxiety, exploring their identities, or deepening their understanding of relational patterns. As a Chinese-American transnational adoptee, I have a special soft spot for people connected to the adoptee community as well. Whether you're navigating big life changes, feeling stuck, or simply wanting to understand yourself better, I'm here to support you. My approach is person-centered & attachment-based, with a sprinkle of dialectical behavioral therapy! I often balance acceptance & change - creating space to affirm your experiences and identities while also guiding and cheerleading you to create changes that feel authentic, empowering, and move you closer to the life you want to live.
