My experience working in the helping professions ranges from public schools to private practice. As well as a therapist, I am a mother; a partner in a bi-cultural household; the daughter of a single immigrant mom; and currently a care provider to my aging parent. Apart from family and work, I focus on political activism and community development projects in Mexico. I work best with clients who believe in change. Our work might focus on removing the grasp that worry and fear have on them or on removing other obstacles to well being such as grief, oppression, resentment, life transitions, unhealthy relationships, and self-doubt.
