I work with a variety of clients and they come to me with many different challenges to overcome. I’ve worked extensively with trauma victims and personality disorders, especially borderline personality disorder - which is treatable despite many clinicians turning their backs on this problem. I also have a high level of expertise in LGBT issues, especially those starting their transition journey to another gender. It is gratifying to be a part of helping clients achieve change and I’m honored to be trusted in the process. I use a variety of tools depending on the issue. I believe in staying with evidence based therapies for best results. I utilize CBT, DBT, ACT, and client focused therapies. I also utilize Scheme therapy, Gottman and Motivational Interviewing at times as well. I have 13 years of counseling experience with 4 post Masters with a full licensure.
