I work with clients who feel stuck in the lingering impact of past experiences on the present and help you understand how your story and painful emotions can become a resource to you and not a threat. My specializations include family dynamics and estrangement, religious trauma, friendships, friend breakups and isolation, adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, parenting with C-PTSD, anxiety, depression, and healing from complex trauma. I help overthinkers connect more deeply with the wisdom of their feelings and bodies and support you in remaining in your power and self-advocacy both within and outside the therapy room. My approach is client-centered, meaning I am focused on you and your experience of life and how this informs your goals for therapy. I utilize a variety of modalities and approaches including narrative therapy, IFS, and psychodynamic. This means your story, inner-world, and the here and now of each session support the process of our work together.
