Growing up as a first generation Asian American, I saw my family negatively impacted by the criminal justice system. This grew into a passion for mental health and desire to help others who may feel as though they have no voice. From the start of my career, I have leaned into opportunities that allow me to be an advocate and to learn more about the criminal justice system. My past work experiences has deepened my understanding of systemic challenges and client rights, enabling me to advocate more effectively and provide a informed and empathetic therapeutic support.
