I have extensive experience working with survivors of trauma. Addictions are often an unwelcomed side-effect of trauma, and I work compassionately when they co-occur. I understand the unique challenges that developmental age and culture plays re: traumatic events, death and loss. I take a gentle yet proactive approach. I know the difficulty of talking about these most personal and often horrifying events. I have compassion and respect for survivors of trauma, and my approach to treating trauma is reflective of this.
