I specialize in therapy with children 9 years old and under who are dealing with anxiety, depression, behavior issues/concerns; or have dealt with difficult experiences such as trauma, persistent stress, bullying, or grief. I am trained in play therapy, which is a developmentally sensitive approach that meets children at their level and helps them process in a way that is more natural to them. Play therapy is built on the understanding that play is a child’s natural way of communicating and a child can make sense of their experiences, process, and cope through play. Kids will learn how to regulate more often and cope with stress.
