Congratulations on taking the next step in your journey by seeking a therapist to assist you! I believe at the heart of us all is the need to be accepted as our authentic selves and to be validated and empathized with. As wounded children, we sometimes develop unhealthy coping skills to soothe uncomfortable feelings and unpleasant experiences. The tools that served us well as children turn into our autopilot as adults when we experience emotional dysregulation. My goal is to provide my clients with nonjudgmental, compassionate, empathetic support to aid in overcoming whatever stress, conflict, or trauma may be occurring in your life I have experience treating individuals with a wide variety of mental health issues. I specialize in working with individual survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and addiction issues, including sexual addiction and substance abuse, as well as co-occurring disorders. I have specific training to assist couples in shaping more loving relationships.
