I specialize in working with children ages 3-12 with a variety of strengths and support needs, including neurodivergence (e.g., ASD, ADHD, giftedness, 2E), emotional dysregulation, behavioral difficulties, and developmental delays. Sometimes these difficulties are exacerbated by attachment or other early life trauma. I utilize directive and non-directive play therapy techniques rooted in trauma-informed principles. Sometimes, the child guides the session and chooses what we do. Other times, I introduce activities to help build skills more explicitly. I am not afraid to be silly or serious depending on what the child needs!
