Not accepting new clients. I specialize in working with clients through pregnancy, childbirth, traumatic birth, NICU stays, postpartum, miscarriage, and IVF. In addition to my perinatal mood and anxiety disorder speciality, I have a particular interest in working with emerging adults as they graduate college and navigate complex changes in their careers, relationships, and identities. I've worked as a psychotherapist for 14 years. My office is in the heart of Dupont Circle in Washington, DC. My main therapeutic approach is feelings-forward. Research often shows that our feelings are primary in determining the way we think and behave. Often, we seek therapy because these feelings are blocked out and can't work alongside our intellect.
