I train to be trauma-informed and culturally responsive. My top priority as your therapist is to create a safe space for you to heal. I provide warm, gentle, and open communication using reflective listening, empathy, and validation. I consider myself integrative, in that I intuitively pull from different modalities to support my clients individually. The modalities I tend to use most are relational/person-centered process-oriented therapy, Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
