No matter your age, life can be unpredictable and take you on difficult emotional journeys. For children and teens, expressing emotions verbally can be even harder due to their developmental level. Situations like divorce, moving, a death in the family, school problems, friend issues, etc., often lead to negative behavioral changes or withdrawal. This is often due to their inability to express themselves properly. My role as a therapist is to create a comfortable and safe place for my clients to process their emotions and explore their inner selves in a way that promotes healing.
