Reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, but taking this step shows your strength and commitment to yourself. Kudos to you! I believe that every person already possesses strengths and skills to heal, but sometimes layers of trauma or pain can make it difficult to do so leading to unwanted symptoms or behaviors such as anxiety, depression, addiction, etc. My approach focuses less on a person’s diagnosis and more on finding triggers, processing trauma, and establishing goals & healthy coping skills.
