Kayla is part of the team at Journey Counseling Center. Kayla has worked with people of all ages with various diagnoses including anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, PTSD, aggressive behaviors, ADHD, ADD, and suicidal/homicidal ideation. In addition, Kayla has worked with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum by helping them learn techniques for managing intense emotions, develop active listening skills for building relationships, and set achievable goals for positive behavior change. She believes that a strong therapeutic relationship between client and counselor is important. Kayla’s overall intention for her clients is to support them in making positive progress toward their individual goals.
