About

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Georgia who has been serving in mental health/substance abuse community since 2015. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology as well as my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Valdosta State University. I take a systemic, non-judgmental approach when working with clients in therapy which takes into consideration a variety of factors such as family, friends, social settings, economic class and environment at home that are contributing to presenting problems. I offer a safe space to explore client concerns by utilizing CBT, DBT, SFT and Mindfulness based practices as a way to facilitate change. I have received extensive training in DBT which promotes living in the present moment, learning how to cope with distressing emotions, and building healthy relationships that brings about a life worth living.
