I work primarily with children and youth between the ages of three years old to adulthood, as well as with their immediate family members. These children may struggle with issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, difficulty expressing their thoughts and emotions, family relationships, or more severe psychological disorders. In their therapy sessions with me, goals often include improving communication skills, strengthening family relationships, establishing and practicing coping skills, and building self-confidence and self-esteem. View 5 Photos I specialize in play therapy, which consists of developmentally appropriate techniques which allow children to explore, learn, and grow in a manner that is most effective for them. As opposed to traditional talk therapy, play therapy provides tools, techniques, and outlets that come naturally to children, helping them reach their full potential.
