As people we want connection. Connection to ourselves, others, and the world around us. When suffering with mental health challenges, those connections can be lost, make it difficult to do the day to day and can make the human experience painful. Whether you are suffering from anxiety, depression, substance use, ADHD, low self-esteem or just life, therapy has the power to assist in gaining new skills, empower through education, and provide a safe space to process those challenging feelings. I have experience working with clients ranging in age from the 6 to 80. I believe in practical strategies to support areas that are impacted, providing education because knowledge is power, and help hold the mirror to assist in clients gaining the ability to improve those connections lost and enjoy the human experience again.
