I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have graduate degrees from Vanderbilt University, the University of Tennessee, and Boston University. I live in Santa Rosa which is a city in the northern part of the San Francisco Bay Area. I have been working with anxiety containment and trauma resolution for most of my career. We can't change the past but we can change the power of the past. In the same way, we can't stop anxiety but we can predict when it will come and create strategies and skills to contain it. Containing anxiety empowers clients not to get stuck in the catastrophizing downward spiral.
