Counseling is a process by which we work together to identify and work on any issues you bring to your session. My approach to counseling involves helping you to identify strengths within yourself and develop self-awareness. Counseling is a joint effort which cannot be successful without hard work, energy and courage. Counseling provides a safe place to explore reactions, thoughts and feelings about people in your life as well as yourself. I believe that each individual has a unique view of the world, based on his or her role in it. Supporting the understanding that none of us are totally individual, but are a part of a whole, is critical to the growth process.
