I have served hundreds of families over the years and have developed a specialty working with children (four and up), adolescents and young adults. I believe these are important formative years in a person's life and sometimes there are bumps along the way. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, self-harm, school-refusal, grief and loss, sexual abuse, behavioral issues, dealing with divorce, and much more. I understand that each individual is different and thus treatment needs to be tailored to each person's needs and wants. I also enjoy working with a variety of adults and young couples. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques such as: Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy and Family Systems Therapy. I believe in using many different types of creative and hands-on outlets to help my clients express their feelings in a safe way, while also maybe having some laughs along the way!
