My passion for advocacy and a client-centered approach were cultivated in my early years as an educator, but my intellectual curiosity regarding the process of personal change and the value of interpersonal relationships motivated me to returned to NKU for a Master’s degree in Social Work. Since graduating with an MSW, I have enjoyed working with a wide variety of clients in diverse settings including a hospital, court-mandated program, and most recently an outpatient office and school-based office. I provide individual therapy to children, adolescents and adults, as well as families and couples. I understand the anticipation of the first session can be overwhelming, but know that the goal of the first few sessions is for you and I to get to know each other and build a safe space in which to work.
