Therapy is meant to be explorative, challenging, and a place that is solely for you and your needs. It is meant to give you tools and skills to improve daily functioning, identify meaning and fulfillment for yourself, create and maintain a safe headspace of thoughts, and build strong, intrapersonal, emotional intelligence. Sometimes our anxiety and other mental health issues we have developed over time can get into the way of living well or even knowing what that means for ourselves or our partner(s).
