Life transitions are hard for everyone, but if you are feeling overwhelmed with what life is serving up to you right now, I’m here to help. I’ve worked in the mental health field for almost 30 years; in public mental health, college counseling centers, outpatient clinics and doing K-12 school social work as well. I’ve also been a Kalamazoo resident for over 25 years as well, so I’m aware of the many resources that this community has to offer. I have special interest in working with the BIPOC population and with college students struggling with life transitions. I’m a former Western Michigan University Health Center therapist and love to work with college aged clients who are adjusting to young adult life and the responsibilities that come with it. I also have an interest in working with Black clients who are trying to find their way as they navigate majority white spaces and encounter discrimination.
