As a licensed professional counselor, I create a safe, accepting, and affirming environment for LGBTQ persons, other minorities, and those with intersectional identities and concerns. I am a strong and empowering advocate. I serve individuals and couples. My specialties are mental health, anxiety/depression, suicidal ideation, trauma, discrimination/oppression, substance use, gambling/gaming addiction, relationship conflict, and anger. I believe that everyone should have access to therapy like medical care. Clients can expect a warm, welcoming, non-judgmental, and affirming response in all sessions. It is vitally important to establish trust and rapport with the client with reflective and empathetic listening, clarification, summary, and affirmation. I am a motivating, empowering, and enthusiastic individual. I fully accept that relapse is part of recovery.
