I believe that we as humans can learn more about ourselves, experience healing, growth and change, no matter our age or circumstances in life. This belief is foundational to my work as a licensed clinical social worker for almost twenty years. Life can and will present us with many hurts, changes and disruptions including trauma, grief and loss, depression and anxiety, being a caregiver, work-related stress, religious trauma, living with chronic pain, surviving serious illness, burnout, job loss, retirement and family/relational conflicts.
