Clients that I work with are often looking for answers and strategies to make sustainable changes in their life. Client goals are directed at alleviating symptoms of distress by generating a way to process complex emotions and implement change. I have found that many clients who seek therapy are surprised to learn how past and present are related, often influenced through choice, meaning, responsibility, purpose and intentional use of strengths. I am passionate about keeping the therapeutic relationship collaborative and empathic, while striving to weave empirical interventions with hope and perseverance.
