My ideal client is someone who has accepted that they must take action to change. I work well with those who live with anxiety and depression, especially those who also have a trauma history. I'm excited to work with clients who are not only ready to understand themselves and the source of their difficulties but also ready to make changes to move forward from what is causing them pain. My ideal client would be someone who recognizes that healing is not a linear path and is willing to show themselves as much kindness and patience as they receive in my office. I help my patients by providing a strengths-focused perspective and unconditional positive regard in counseling. By utilizing a combination of therapeutic perspectives, I provide patients with evidence-based treatment designed to help them overcome their difficulties while meeting them where they are in their mental health journey.
