I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work (Special) from the University of the West Indies in Jamaica and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from the Graduate School of Theology in Jamaica. I have an extensive background in social work and counseling and have approximately ten years of combined experience, having worked as a Mental Health Therapist, an Outpatient Therapist, and a Licensed Professional Counselor. I work well with couples and persons who have experienced trauma and anxiety. My goal is to create a safe space where clients can process their concerns. and work towards their goals in order to become the best version of them self. Typically, I view the first session as getting to know the client and trying to understand their goals for therapy.
