When coming to a therapist for help, you are sometimes clear on your conflict/issue. But at other times, it's more a vague feeling of unease - that your life isn't going as it should. My empathic and attuned psychoanalytic approach is geared towards either person. Some of areas of expertise are anxiety, identity, depression, interpersonal issues and narcissism - including adult children of narcissists. I am very open, non-judgmental, and inquiry-based. I'm here to help you find a solution. The goal is to find a more meaningful and satisfying way of living. With a background in addiction disorders, I find that many problems arise from unresolved issues. My work has provided me with experience working with grief, trauma, and low self-esteem as well as relationship issues that run concomitant with these issues. I am certified in both DBT and EFT for couples.
