The counseling relationship is built on trust. What I hear most from my clients is that I am real. I want my clients to know that I genuinely care about them. I consider it an honor that they are willing to share parts of their lives with me. I practice acceptance with no judgment, while at the same time pushing for healthy change. My belief is that there is always hope.
