I am a psychotherapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Chicago, Illinois. I provide individual and couples therapy specializing in the particular needs of the queer community. Psychotherapy offers the opportunity to gain a deeper knowledge and acceptance of oneself as well as insight into how one's fears, unacknowledged desires, and conflicts from the past can influence current behavior. I believe that a successful psychotherapy is directly dependent upon a solid relationship between therapist and patient. In our initial sessions I will ask what sort of issues bring you in and explore ways you've tried to deal with these issues in the past. Once I have an understanding of what brings you in and how I can help, we will discuss a plan for treatment.
