Psychological trauma occurs when our level of stress exceeds our ability to cope with that stress. This often creates a dysregulated nervous system (stuck in "fight-or-flight" survival mode) that can leave us with anxiety, depression, ADHD, memory issues, confusion, dissociation, PTSD & CPTSD, or just feeling "stuck." I specialize in working with women who have been the target of domestic violence or narcissistic abuse from men. This type of abuse is sometimes difficult to see clearly. You may wonder if this is your fault or even have thoughts that this is what you deserve. I'd like to help you find clarity in all of this.
