Hi, there. If you've made it to scrolling through therapists, you've taken a big step. This is the point where I like to meet people: the moment when they've decided that they're ready for things to be different, even if that means they have to step outside of their comfort zone. I have been a mental health counselor for fourteen years. I specialize in trauma and helping people make sense of the things that have happened to them. That said, I have experience in helping with a broad spectrum of concerns. I use two traditions of therapy, the existential and the cognitive-behavioral. This means that therapy, for me, is about human-to-human conversations with people about their world and the way they see themselves in it. I also teach skills that people can draw upon to handle some of their most overwhelming moments.
