About
I have lived in Chicago for the past 10 years and have been a therapist and social worker during that time. I got my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kansas. For hobbies, I love playing soccer, reading, speaking Spanish, and gardening. My therapeutic orientation is born out of my desire to answer life's big questions and love of philosophy. I'll start by asking you some basic questions to get to know you better and understand what brings you to therapy, what you're hoping to get out of it, and a bit about your background. We will also talk about what you want to work on. This might involve discussing specific issues you're struggling with or broader goals you have for personal growth. And we will also talk about expectations and how each session will look. In addition, I will try to create a safe and supportive environment where you feel comfortable opening up.
