Hello-My name is Khovita Jainarine and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in NY. In my 7 years of experience in mental health counseling, I have had the pleasure of working in a wide array of mental health settings. These opportunities have provided me with the ability to help break the stigma of mental health and make services more accessible. I believe in viewing the patient from a holistic perspective to understand how different compents/factors can effect us. My approach to therapy honor each individual’s unique circumstances as I work with them to build a practical plan for achieving positive change and growth. I practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person centered approach, Cultural Competency, and Trauma informed Care. Focusing on personalized care to determine what coping skills work best for you!
