Some often say we should stay active to maintain our physical health. I believe therapy is a way of getting active in maintaining positive mental health. We all endure many struggles in our lives and seeking help is the first step to overcome those burdens. I believe that therapy is not a one size fits all approach and believe in providing a warm, comfortable, and nonjudgmental space while developing a strong rapport with each client. In order to make the healing process most rewarding, I believe that displaying empathy and offering strategies are key along with understanding each client’s background, history, thoughts, and values.
