“I feel stuck,” is what I hear most in my practice. It often starts with feelings of anxiety, depression, uncertainty, lack of clarity or direction, burnout or disconnection, all of which make progress feel impossible. It may arise in the face of life challenges— infertility, grief and loss, relationship strain, life transitions or financial hardships—that become overwhelming when your usual ways of coping don’t move the needle. Whatever the trigger, you’re locked in a negative cycle of overwhelm and emotional distress, making you feel alone. But you can get unstuck; you can recover a sense of agency and move forward.
